With just days remaining for the year to come to an end, the Governor of the Reserve Bank of Fiji, Sada Reddy is confident that 2010 will be a good year for the country's economy.
Reddy said everything is on track and it is clear with the revision of the outlook for Fiji upgraded from negative to stable by the Standard and Poors.
Standard and Poors also said that it now believes that pressures on Fiji's reserves have receded due to a recovering tourism sector, less volatile political environment, effective use of capital controls, devaluation of the Fiji dollar and assistance through the IMF.
Reddy said the international view on Fiji's economy is improving.
