Red Rock out of Vatukoula 7s Cup competition
This is after defending champions Red Rock lost its second pool match 19-5 to West Field Saunaka and is out of the main competition.
Red Rock had lost to Vuda Blues 7-5 in the first match today and will now play in the Bowl competition.
West Field Saunaka, Samurai Barracudas, Waimanu and Army are the only teams so far that have qualified for the cup quarter-finals.
Currently, the last round of pool games are being played after which the other quarter-finalists for tomorrow will be finalised.
Meanwhile, upsets continued today in Vatukoula as Uluinakau Babas from Ra beat Navy 12-5.
Navy had players like Waqabaca Kotobalavu and Kaminieli Naqisa in the team.
In other results so far West Field Saunaka led by Pio Tuwai defeated Vuda Blues 21-nil, Uprising beat Senibiau 17-10, Western Force defeated Vio 19 nil.
Warwick beat Nawaka 22-12 and Police led by Peni Gaunimeke, Sakenasa Aca and Waisale Dau beat Mala Young boys 22-7.
