Defending Fiji’s Coral Coast 7s champion, Red Rock have been drawn in a tough pool in this weekend’s tournament in Sigatoka.

The Lami based team which will miss the services of most of their seasonal players who are in Australia are the top seeded side in Pool A with Wardens, Yalovata from Nadroga and Wellington NZ.

Coral Coast 7s chairman, Jay Whyte said that in most pools they have 3 top local sides plus an overseas 7s based team.

Other top seeded team include Police and Hideaway in Pool B, Army with Natabua in Pool C, Navy heads Pool D with Waisale Serevi coached side from USA while Ratu Filise and Samurai Baracudas are other top teams from Pool E and F.

The winner of the Coral Coast 7s will receive $30,000.

The tournament starts on Friday at 10am.
