Defending Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7s champion Red Rock has progressed to the Cup semifinals after beating a star studded Daveta team 10-5 in extra time.

Vodafone Fiji Bati trialist Apenisa Cokanasiga was the hero for Red Rock as he scored the winning try.

Cokanasiga said they stuck to their game plan and is confident that they can retain their title.
 
 
Red Rock will now meet Army in the semis after the Emosi Mulevoro led side beat Police 20-19 in the second quarterfinal.

A young Tale Babas side with former national  Under 20 reps Ledua Ratumuri and Penaia Nawelulu beat the Serevi Select side 10-7 and will face Yamacia who beat Northern Suburbs 29-5.

The cup semifinals will be held at 4pm and the final will be at 7:30pm. 

The cup winner will win $30,000 and the runner up will get $10,000

In the shield competition, Coastal Stallions thumped Lauli’i Pago 52-0, Pakuranga beat SRS Warriors 12-10, Naviti defeated Callison Pacific Pine 12-10 while Wardens Gold thrashed Tribe 22-0.

In the bowl, Ratu Filise pipped Hideaway Hurricanes 15-14, Ratuva Horse Riding beat the USA Falcons 20-5, Wardens Green defeated Outrigger 27-10 and Tokatoka thrashed Warwrick 26-0.
