The Fiji Red Cross is handing out water and water containers to residents in Navua and other areas that have been without water supply for the past four days.
Red Cross Fiji Operations Manager Vuli Gauna said their 17 teams out in the field have been handing the containers to those people in affected areas and at evacuation centres.
He added that they have been filling the containers in Suva before heading down to Navua and other areas.
Meanwhile, Gauna added that though they have been keeping contact with their counterparts overseas, they have enough supply left from the flood earlier this year.
