Boeing has donated the Fiji Red Cross Society a total of US $50,000 today.
Boeing Australia, New Zealand and South Pacific President Craig Saddler who was present in Suva today presented the cheque to the Fiji Red Cross Society.
While presenting the cheque, Saddler added that their donation would make a difference to those affected by the recent cyclone.
Meanwhile, the President of Fiji Red Cross National Board Wylie Clarke said the money would be used to replenish the disaster stock and it will also assist the society's disaster preparedness and response efforts.
Boeing is the exclusive supplier of aircraft to the national carrier.
