The Fiji Red Cross is now assisting the Health Ministry in distributing of hygiene kits and Baby packs to families in the flood affected areas as part of their second phase of assistance.
Disaster Coordinator Vuli Gauna said they are also distributing Dignity kits working in the UNFPA.
Gauna said they have so far spent over $400,000 to provide assistance to the affected families.
The Red Cross teams are also out in the affected areas, including the Yasawa's to distribute water purification tablets to ensure people have clean drinking water available.
