Records tumbled four times in the girls Under 14 shot put event at the FM Chow games this morning but the final say went to Sabeto District schools class eight student, Kasanita Nai who broke record with a throw of 13.91 meters.

Tonga's Ata Tu'utafaiva who got a throw of 12.72 meters and broke the initial record of 11.72 meters which was set in 2002.

But the Nadi girl, came out strong and collected the Gold for Nadi.    

Meanwhile, the 100 meters finals have started and the highlight will be Sprint King, Banuve Tabakaucoro's brother, Joe Tabakaucoro who will run in the Under 12 final.

Tabakaucoro who finished second in yesterdays 200 meters final behind Lautoka's Marika Biuvanua wants to walk away with the gold in the 100 meters final.

Both Tabakaucoro and Biuvanua will feature in the 100 meters final at 1.11pm.

Looking at the medal tally, Suva is leading in the boys division with 5 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze, in second place is Lautoka with 3 gold and 1 bronze and in third place is Nasinu with 3 bronze medals.

In the girls division, Suva also lead the tally with 4 gold, 3 silver and 3 bronze, in second place is Cakaudrove with 3 gold and 1 bronze.
