Fiji reached a new record in visitor arrivals for 2015.
Our visitor arrivals stood at 754,835 last year compared to 692,630 in 2014.
The Fiji Bureau of Statistics says according to the provisional arrivals, this is a nine percent increase.
Visitors arriving for holiday purposes totaled 594,749 people. This makes up 78.8 percent of the arrivals.
46,794 people came to visit friends or relatives while just over 25,000 people came for business purposes.
Visitor numbers from Australia and New Zealand were the highest ever in a given year and these totals equate to average daily arrivals of 1,006 and 380 respectively.
Total arrivals from Australia for last year were 367, 273 and arrivals from New Zealand stood at 138,537.
