The Transport Workers Union General Secretary has urged the Fiji National Provident Fund to reconsider its changes made to the policies.
General Secretary Kamlesh Kumar said the union is disappointed with the changes made in the education policy.
Kumar said workers will face difficulties in educating their children.
The Fiji National Provident Fund has made some changes in its policies which come into effect in April.
Earlier this week, Board Chairman Parmesh Chand announced that for local education assistance, short courses will no longer be funded under this ground and funding of members' siblings children will not be allowed adding accommodation will now be benchmarked for USP's small room charge, and maximum assistance under this ground will be $2,000 per child per semester while for overseas education, members can only use their education eligibility.
