The SDL party said it will be a viable option to recall the ousted parliament to bring about the proposed electoral and constitutional changes as proposed in the draft Peoples Charter.
However, SDL Leader and ousted Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase stressed that much will depend on how the proposed Presidential forum is convened.
Qarase also added that both the SDL and FLP must be convinced before these proposed changes can be made and if parliament is to be recalled.
FLP Leader Mahendra Chaudhry is yet to comment on the matter.
Meanwhile, interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama had maintained that the next elections will be held under a new electoral system.
