The Melbourne Rebels beat the Western Force 30-29 last night.

The Rebels secured their first victory on their home ground with a stunning performance till the last minute of the game.

Meanwhile in the second match, Hurricanes captain Conrad Smith scored a last minute bonus point try to snatch a 25-26 victory from the Blues at Eden Park in Auckland.

The result is a crushing blow to the title hopes of the star studded Blues who have now won only one of their first five matches and are last in the highly competitive New Zealand conference.

Meanwhile, the Highlanders and Brumbies match kicks off at 8.40 tonight.
