Promoting human value and dignity should be the prime work of the Fiji Human Rights Commission.

These are the words of Permanent Secretary to the Prime Minister's Office Lieutenant Colonel Pio Tikoduadua who stressed that we should stop imposing international rights in Fiji if it is not relevant anymore.

While speaking at the 10th anniversary of the Fiji Human Rights Commission in Fiji yesterday, Tikoduadua highlighted that the FHRC should reassess its work adding that government is working on bringing about necessary changes and FHRC should now ask itself which rights are relevant in Fiji.
