Crusaders coach Todd Blackadder has made six changes to his starting 15 that beat the Waratahs in their last match, for tomorrow’s clash with the Highlanders.
The biggest surprise is the omission of first-choice number eight Kieran Read.
The All Blacks captain has been named amongst the replacements alongside fellow internationals Wyatt Crockett, Luke Romano and Corey Flynn while there is no place in the match day squad for All Blacks tighthead prop Owen Franks.
At 7.35pm tomorrow the Crusaders meet the Highlanders while at 7.35 tonight the Chiefs play the Hurricanes.
