Crusaders captain Kieran Read is likely to make his return to Super Rugby against the Force next Friday.
The number eight has been sidelined for a month with concussion and All Blacks coach Steve Hansen said Read will likely miss out on the Crusaders side to face the Highlanders.
Hansen said Read has been out of the game for a while now so getting him conditioned is important.
The Crusaders will play the Highlanders at 5:35pm this Saturday.
On Friday the Sharks meet the Blues at 7.35pm while at 9.40pm the Rebels play the Waratahs.
