It is still not known at this stage whether all those holding constitutional appointments will be re-appointed to their positions after being dismissed yesterday and over the weekend, due to the abrogation of the constitution.
This is also after Reserve Bank Governor Savenaca Narube was dismissed of his post yesterday.
Yesterday, police officers had been deployed to court houses around the country, the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP’s) office, the Fiji Human Rights Commission (FHRC) office and the Reserve Bank of Fiji (RBF) building.
All judges, magistrates and judicial officers were also dismissed over the weekend.
