Flying Fijians full back, Taniela Rawaqa is now the Pacific Nation Cup all time leading points scorer after yesterday's 41-38 win against Tonga.

Rawaqa who has been a member of the Fiji team in the PNC from 2007 now has 89 points to his name after recording 16 points in yesterday's close win.

The Vuda lad who missed the game against Japan because of suspension is 14 points ahead of Tongan's Pierre Hola who is in 75 points and Seramaia Bai, who is not playing for Fiji in this season’s PNC, is in third place with 74 points.

Rawaqa is a key player in the Samu Domoni coached side which is eyeing to become the first Fiji team to claim the PNC title.

After yesterday's game, Fiji is in 1st place on the points table with 9 points and Sunday's opponents Samoa are third with 4 points.

Fiji will just need a win, or a draw or a loss with a bonus point will be enough to win the PNC title for the first time since 2006.

Fiji takes on Samoa on Sunday at 3.10pm in Apia.
