Flying Fijian 15s rugby team is waiting for word from the medical staff on whether lock Ifereimi Rawaqa can play against Wales in their second Test match on tour this Saturday.

Rawaqa did not play against France on Sunday and was replaced by loose forward Jone Qovu.

Although the line-out was not affected coach Samu Domoni Junior is hoping he will recover in time to again contest the Wales throw in like he did in the 2007 Rugby World Cup.

Manager Talemo Waqa has confirmed that the side will spend time in the gym this morning before reviewing the game against France where each individual will polish on their weak areas for Saturday's game.

Fiji last played Wales during the 2007 World Cup where we beat them and denied the Welsh a spot in the quarter finals.

The Fiji and Wales game kicks-off on Saturday at 8.30am.
