Digicel Fiji Sevens coach Iliesa Tanivula has drafted in Flying Fijians fullback and former Fiji Sevens rep Dan Rawaqa to be part of the squad to prepare for the World Games later this month.
Tanivula confirmed to Fijivillage that the nippy fullback will be a great asset to the team as he has proven himself in the recent Pacific Nations Cup tournament.
Also recalled to the squad is Peni Rokodiva Junior who missed out on the last leg of the IRB Sevens Series due to injury.
Rokodiva said that he is happy to join the squad again and he knows it will be tough with Dan Rawaqa and Osea Kolinisau vying for the same position.
The team that marched into camp today include the likes of Emosi Vucago, Dan Rawaqa, Osea Kolinisau, Peni Rokodiva, Seremaia Burotu, Watisoni Votu, Waqabaca Kotobalavu, Nasoni Roko, Pio Tuwai and Orisi Sareki to name a few.
The final 12-member squad for the World Games on July 24-25 in Chinese Taipei will be announced next week.
