Two surfing buddies will be up against each other today in the Volcom Fiji Pro which is currently underway in Tavarua Island.
Fiji's Ratu Aca Ravulo Lalabalavu will take on 11-time World champion Kelly Slater in the mens round 2 heat 1 of the Volcom Fiji Pro.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Slater said he has known Ravulo for a long time and it will be a fun time rather than a competition for them.
The current World number 4 and defending champion of the Volcom Pro said he enjoys coming to surf in Fiji as it is very relaxing.
