Vodafone Fiji 7s team points scoring machine, Vatemo Ravouvou will look to maintain his position of being the highest individual points scorer in the series at the Vancouver 7s.
Ravouvou continues to lead the series with 242 individual points ahead of South Africa’s Seabelo Senatla (180 points) and Canada’s Nathan Hirayama (174 points).
He has also made 86 successful conversions so far this season which is the highest number by a player.
There are suggestions that Ravouvou may be a top favourite to be nominated for the World Rugby 7s player of the Year Award.
Apart from this, Savenaca Rawaca continues to chase down South Africa’s Seabelo Senatla in the competition of the most number of tries by a player.
Senatla has scored 36 tries this season while Rawaca has scored 27.
Fiji has scored 135 tries this season and this is the highest number by a team.
They also lead the tally for the most points scored which is 873 points.
Fiji has won 26 of the 30 matches that they have played in the 2015/2016 HSBC World Sevens series.
The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will take on Samoa at 6.14am Sunday.
They will then face Portugal at 9.50am before taking on Kenya at 2 pm Sunday.
The Cup quarterfinals start at 7.08am next Monday, the semifinals will be at 11.08am Monday while the Cup final will be held at 2 pm next Monday.
