National 15s rugby captain Mosese Rauluni showed this morning he still has what it takes to play in top level rugby after scoring the only try to help his Saracens side end London Irish’s eleven game unbeaten run in the Guinness Premiership competition.

Saracens beat London Irish 16-13 in a closely contested game where a 16,000 crowd witnessed an impressive performance from both sides.

Rauluni teamed up with another Fijian player Kameli Ratuvou who played on the wing to assist their side to a well earned victory.

Ratuvou was up against Samoan international winger Sailosi Tagicakibau and did not give him any room to move.

In another game, Seru Rabeni’s Leicester Tigers drew 26 all with Harlequins.

A record crowd of 50,000 people witnessed the game and Harlequins had to rely on the last minute conversion from the boot of former All Black Nick Evans to tie the match.
