Fiji's World Cup captain Mosese Rauluni has put pen to paper on a new two-year contract with Saracens, a deal which will keep him at the club until 2010.

The 32-year-old was one of the stars of the tournament in France as he inspired Fiji to the quarterfinals of the competition while playing some fine rugby along the way which included wins over Japan, Canada and Wales.

Rauluni joined Saracens in 2004 from Brisbane Easts and has made 65 appearances for the club during that time. He has featured in three World Cups for Fiji and played in all of the tests played by the combined Pacific Islanders side.

The scrum-half is currently in Australia to be with his wife Maile and their new-born daughter Isabella. He returns to Saracens in early February with the club still fighting for honours on all three fronts this season.
