The former Great Council of Chiefs Chairman and Tavua High Chief Ratu Ovini Bokini was today laid to rest in his village of Tavaulevu.
He was farewelled by fellow chiefs from the different chiefly households in Fiji, by politicians, businessman, friends and family.
Tavua businesses closed early yesterday and today to pay their respects to the late High Chief.
He died late last Thursday at the age of 64.
