A landowning unit of the Yavusa Matanikutu in Tamavua village wants Ratu Loco Qiolevu and his congregation to move out of the land he is currently occupying in Cunningham within the next 21 days.

The notice of eviction was handed to him yesterday by Suva lawyer Akuila Naco on behalf of the Tamavua landowners after they raised concern that Ratu Loco had been running a self proclaimed church and are urging children not to go to school.

However, Qiolevu claimed that he is a high chief of the Vanua Matanikutu and a direct descendent of the Qaranivalu and no one has the power to evict him from that piece of land.

Ratu Loco said he had done nothing wrong to be treated this way.
