The claimant to the Qaranivalu title Ratu Loco Qiolevu has the customary right to stay on the land his occupying in Cunningham.
Ratu Loco's lawyer Niko Nawaikula said he has responded to the Tamavua landowner’s lawyer Akuila Naco who gave the eviction notice to Ratu Loco because of his engagement with a church of healing denomination headed by Marama Vada.
Nawaikula said Ratu Loco is a high chief of Naitasiri and he cannot just be kicked out.
