The President of the SDL Party and Chairman of the Party's Management Board Ratu Kalokalo Loki has resigned as Party President effective from the 6th of March.
This was confirmed by the SDL Party Leader Laisenia Qarase in a statement released.
Ratu Kalokalo said he would like to devote his time to his family and his Vanua.
Qarase said a replacement will decided at the party's next Annual General Meeting.
