Coastal Ratu Filise will be relying on their new players who are aiming to make a mark at the Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7's to carry to them through the tournament.
Team coach, Etika Tovilevu says they are not taking part to make up the numbers but will try and win the tournament.
He says preparations have been well although the weather was not favorable and hindered some of their training sessions.
He adds that during their two training sessions per day they have been working on their weaknesses and are also trying to improve on their fitness level.
Coastal Ratu Filise is in Pool c with Tabadamu, Hideaway Hurricanes and Yamacia.
The Bayleys Fiji Coral Coast 7's will begin next week Thursday till Saturday at Lawaqa Park.
The prize money for both the men’s and women’s competition is $20,000.
