People of Fiji need to be reminded of the price that was paid to secure the freedom we enjoy today.
Those were the words of Defence Minister, Ratu Epeli Ganilau today as he launched the Poppy appeal in Fiji which will see ex-servicemen selling red popies through the coming weeks, leading up to Remembrance Day on 11th of next month.
Meanwhile, Project Officer with the Defence Ministry, Peni Rasima has confirmed, the construction of a war memorial center which will also house a museum, has started in Veiuto.
