Nausori’s Ratu Cakobau Park is in an unplayable condition at the moment as less than three weeks remain for the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants.
The Nausori Town Council is doing major upgrading works on the pitch but this will go to waste if the coming weeks bring rain in the Southern Division.
Fiji Football Association’s Vice President Yogeshwar Singh said apart from the pitch, 12 new floodlights and a new transformer will be installed at the ground.
The Inkk Mobile BOG kicks off on the 11th of next month at Ratu Cakobau Park, however 4 matches will be played in the first round a week earlier at the TFL National Stadium.
