Fijian winger Alipate Ratini has joined French club La Rochelle as an additional player to the end of the season.

Ratini spent two seasons at Grenoble before the club released him from his contract because of poor behaviour.

The news broke out in July last year when the club released a statement on their official website revealing that Ratini was no longer employed by them.

He will now join the hard hitting Levani Botia in La Rochelle.

Ratini had scored 10 tries in 15 games in the Top 14 competition last year.
