Waisake Raselala of Sila Central High School still has some unfinished business at the Coca-Cola Games.
The final year vocational student was beaten at the finish line last year by Suva Grammar's Waisale Ledua in the 100 metres final where he settled for the silver medal.
Raselala said he wants a fairytale ending to his school athletics career and it will be good to do it in the new stadium with an improved time.
Raselala clocked manual times of 11.08 seconds in the 100 metres and 23.03 seconds in the 200 metres at the Triple N Zone meet to claim gold.
Raselala is expected to face tough competition from Leone Natusa of Natabua High School, Francis Kirikirikula of Suva Grammar School, Apisai Lomani of Ratu Kadavulevu School and Beniamino Maravu of Saint Bedes College.
Meanwhile, the games torch is on its way to Bua College and Lekutu Secondary School.
The torch will spend the night at Dreketi Secondary School.
The Coca-Cola Games will be held on the 16th and 17th of next month.
