The Rarawai Mill is facing problems but everything should be back to normal by this evening.

These are the words of Fiji Sugar Corporation General Manager Deo Sharan in regards to complaints received earlier this morning from farmers about the delays in crushing at the Rarawai Mill.

Deo said that the problems faced were the usual hiccups which were encountered by all mills and the issue has been blown out of porportion.

He has also called on farmers to follow the proper channels in lodging complaints and take issues up with the National Growers Councils.

Deo admits that the Ba mill has been facing problems during the past couple of days but the problem is usually fixed in quick time. As for farmers in Ba he said that crushing is expected to continue as normal by this evening.
