A 29 year old man of Sabeto, Nadi, charged with the rape of a 10 year old girl was today sentenced to eight and a half years imprisonment.
Nemani Moce appeared before Magistrate Sahu Khan.
Moce was staying with the 10 year old victim's family when the incident took place.
He pleaded guilty to the charges and in mitigation asked for forgiveness and requested for another chance.
