The 12 year old girl who was allegedly gang raped by seven men last week in Dreketi has now been admitted at the Labasa Hospital.
Police confirms the victim was brought in from Dreketi this morning and her medical examination is now underway.
Police this morning arrested the seven men in relation to this case and were brought to Labasa where charges are expected to lay against them. They are expected to appear in Labasa Magistrates court later this afternoon.
Police said the girl who is from Bua went to spend her Christmas at a relative’s house in Dreketi when she was allegedly gang raped by these seven men.
The girl also sustained injuries during the brutal attack.
Police believe the seven men were under the influence of liquor when the alleged incident took place.
