Residents in parts of Rakiraki should start storing water as water cuts will be experienced in the next hour until later this evening.
This has been confirmed by the Water Authority of Fiji who say this is due to engineers changing a water valve along one of the main water pipes.
The areas affected will include those living along Hospital Rd, Thompson Parade, FSC Lane, parts of Vatumami, D.O Road as well as Police Barrack Rd.
The Authority said water supply is expected to normalise by 7 this evening once works have been completed.
