Meanwhile, the Nadi Weather Office warns of flash flooding in low lying areas as a trough of low pressure remains slow moving over the Fiji group.

The Duty Forecaster said isolated heavy falls are expected in most parts of the country. She also confirms that the trough of low pressure over the country is associated with a Tropical Depression located far northeast of the Fiji group.

The Tropical Depression poses no direct threat to the group at this stage and the weather office is closely monitoring the system.
