13 men from Nailuva and Nasavu in Ra charged with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, damaging property, trespassing and murder were today released on bail by the Rakiraki court.
Five villagers from Nasavu are charged with murder who are alleged to have assaulted Leone Naivi in May during a fight, which broke out between the two villagers, while eight men from Nailuva village have been charged with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, damaging property and trespassing.
They were ordered to report to the Rakiraki Police station on Monday and Friday and were ordered not to return to their village.
No plea has been taken and the case has been adjourned till 16th July.
