National Council for Building a Better Fiji (NCBBF) member and Nasinu Mayor reiterates that NCBBF Technical and Support Secretariat Head John Samy's pay can be used to build homes for squatter residents.
Rajeshwar Kumar supports Suva Lawyer Rajendra Chaudhry's comments that Samy's services are no longer needed as the draft charter is ready and the Interim goverment should stop paying $12,000 a month salary to John Samy.
Meanwhile, when contacted yesterday afternoon Samy said he does not intend to debate the matter as he has much work still to do. He said those making such statement should ask the NCBBF and the two Co-Chairs whether his services are still needed.
