Rajeshwar Kumar has been re-elected unopposed for the fourth consecutive year as the Mayor of Nasinu.
Dhirendra Prasad was also re-elected for his fourth consecutive year unopposed.
In his Mayoral Address after re-election, Kumar highlighted the town council now receives several applications for developments on a daily basis.
Kumar also revealed that they are embarking on a project to improve the image of Nasinu.
He also stressed that despite earlier differences the council as a whole has shown that members representing the SDL and FLP can work together for the common good of Nasinu, which is dubbed the Millennium Town.
