The Raiwai Gold Men’s Volleyball team defied all odds as they beat a star studded Suva 1 to win the Vulaca Volleyball Championship yesterday.
With the services of their seasonal reps Suliasi Ledua, Mika Tuvoli, Mosese Cola, Rusiate Nasilasila and hardworking captain Ilaitia Vakayadra Raiwai outlassed Suva winning 3 sets to 1.
Meanwhile, Anaseini Seniloli led Suva Black to win the Women’s category after defeating Security Forces 1 in 3 straight sets.
The winners of both divisions walk away with $1000 while the runners up receive $500.
