The Raiwai Gold men’s volleyball team has forced their way into the quarterfinals of the Vulaca Volleyaball Championship today.
With probably the youngest side in the competition, Raiwai defied all odds as they were unbeaten in pool play after beating Nadonumai 2, Security Forces 1, Suva 3 and Raiwaqa.
Raiwai will take on Nakasi, defending champion Suva 1 takes on Raiwaqa 1, Kinoya Gold will take on USP Green while Suva 2 will await the last pool match between Nadonumai 1 and Security Forces 2 which is currently underway.
Meanwhile, the women’s quarterfinal is yet to be confirmed.
The Cup quarters starts later today.
