Getting into the national sevens team is every rugby players dream and being part of the training squad is a step closer to achieving that dream.

For 20 year old Alipate Raitini, donning the national jumper is right at his door step and he will not let the moment pass by.

The former Lelean Memorial School student has been a regular member of the Vatukoula side during the national provincial sevens tournament last year.

Raitini who was a non travelling reserve for Fiji in the last two legs of the IRB 7s series last year said he grew up watching some of the best and he has learned a lot from them.
