Rainy weather cause road hazard
Director National Roads said that there's gravel washout in the Namosi, Saliadrau, Delailasakau and Waiyanitu Roads in Namosi, Tokotoko Road in Navua, Beqa, Namaqumaqua, Aseri and Sadro Roads in Serua and as a result motorists are asked to take precaution while in these areas.
In the Western Division, for Rakiraki, Burelevu road is closed to all traffic, in Kings Road, a culvert is damaged resulting in single lane traffic only being allowed, for Ba, Vutuni Crossing Number 2 is closed, in Lautoka, care needs to be taken when travelling through the Vakabuli Indian School Road and Buabua Road, in Tavua, the Yaladro Road is closed to all traffic as some places are under water as well as Qalela Road, all other roads are open however caution is advised when travelling through these roads.
In Sigatoka, Tilivalevu Road is closed to all traffic. All other roads are open to traffic however take precaution especially on the Sigatoka Valley, Kavanagasau, Lomawai and Nabila Roads.
All drivers are asked to take precaution where ever they are especially during this wet weather conditions.
