The continuous rainy weather in the North has forced motorists to exercise more caution on the road as repair work along roads are taking longer to repair.

Police Spokesperson, Atunaisa Sokomuri said that at the moment they are watching the traffic flow between Savusavu and Labasa as the main Highway, Hibiscus Highway has become troublesome especially near the Lomolomo Village.

Sokomuri said that the rain has damaged the road area near the Village and maneuvering the area is very hard.

Meanwhile, the National Metrology Office said that there will be cloudy spells and associated thunderstorm which will affect mostly the North and the Eastern parts of the main islands.

So please be careful when you are on the roads.
