Vodafone Fiji Bati winger and Parramatta Eels flyer Semi Radradra scored a hat-trick today to help the Eels beat the Sydney Roosters 18-11 in the first ever NRL Auckland Nines tournament at Eden Park.

In other results, Cronulla Sharks beat the Akuila Uate’s Newcastle Knights 15-12 while the Titans thrashed the Tigers 22-7.

Meanwhile, 12 Fijian players will be representing their various clubs in the tournament.

The game will only include nine players on the field and with nine minutes each half.

Making his comeback into the NRL after a short stint with Irish based club Lote Tuqiri will be playing alongside Apisai Koroisau for the South Sydney Rabitohs.

Sisa Waqa will feature for the Melbourne Storm while Akuila Uate will make his mark again for the Newcastle Knights.

Etonia Nabuli will team up with Wes and Kevin Naiqama in the Penrith Panthers while Jayson Bukuya will make his debut for the New Zealand Warriors.

Hard hitter Tariq Sims will be the one to watch in the North Queensland Cowboys, Semi Radradra for Paramatta Eels, Kane Evans for Sydney Roosters while Vodafone Fiji Bati flyer Marika Koroibete will wear the number five jumper again for the Wests Tigers.

Meanwhile the Sea Eagles are currently playing the Cowboys.
 
In other matches, the Storm faces the Panthers at 2.15pm, Rabbitohs against the Dragons at 2.40pm, Sharks against the Wests Tigers at 3.20pm, Knights will meet the Titans at 3.45pm, Eels taking on the Bulldogs at 4.35pm, Warriors against the Sea Eagles at 5.10pm, Raiders against the Cowboys at 5.35pm, Storm faces the Rabbitohs at 6pm while the Panthers will face the Dragons at 6.25pm.
