The Radisson Resort has been awarded a Green STAR Accreditation by AAA Tourism in partnership with Green Globe which is the internationally recognized performance improvement program for the tourism industry.
The General Manager of the Radisson Resort Fiji Justin Phillips said the accreditation gives them a special recognition and demonstrates to the customers that they are socially responsible and committed to reducing the environmental impacts of their business.
To get the Green STAR, the Radisson Resort had to excel against a set of practical environmental criteria including energy efficiency, waste management and water minimisation.
The Green STAR Accreditation is tailored specifically for the accommodation industry.
