This is the view of SDL National Director Peceli Kunivuwai who said that eradicating racial divisions is an enormous task.
Kinivuwai said Fijians and Indians come from totally different backgrounds while reacting to Commodore Bainimarama's comments that everyone who lives in the country is a Fijian.
Commodore Frank Bainimarama has told Village News that he wants a common name for all the people of Fiji as he said every person who lives in the country is a Fijian.
He added that the racial divisions should be eradicated as the racial barriers are the main cause of Fiji's problems.
