Vodafone Labasa Coach Anand Sami believes the race for the 2008 Fiji Bitter Fact title is still wide open although his side record a 2-0 win against host Nadi last night.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Sami said his side will have to improve their performance today when they take on Tavua who also scored a 2-0 win against Nasinu.
Meanwhile, defending champions Ba beat Rewa 1-0 in their opening pool game with a goal scored by sensational striker Josaia Bukalidi.
The Men In Black had to defend in most parts of the game, as the delta boys looked to equalise but failed to find the back of the net.
Lautoka also beat Suva 1-0 with veteran Salesh Sami scoring the winning goal in the first half.
In the opening game yesterday, Tavua beat Nasinu 2-0.
Game currently in progress sees Rewa leading Nadroga 3-1.
