National Netball team captain Mere Rabuka was awarded the "Player of the Match" for her excellent leadership skills that led to Fiji beating Botswana by 53 points to 30 in Pretoria this morning.
Speaking to Fijivillage, coach Melissa Walker said that award was no surprise for Rabuka as she did some "awesome intercepts" to deny Botswana from going into the goal circle.
Walker added that though it was Aliti Seru's first international, the Lautoka based played did exceptionally well and the win over Botswana was a team effort.
Fiji will now go on to meet South Africa in the finals tomorrow morning.
